This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide police protection for conducting election of Dr.Ambedkar Nagar Resident Welfare Association, Royapettah scheduled to be held on 04.01.2025 based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024 would be considered on merits.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024 in accordance with law.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
