Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the refusal check bearing slip no RFL / Sulur / 55 / 2024 dated 29.11.2024 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to register the settlement deed dated 29.11.2024, presented by the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned Refusal Check Slip No.RFL / Sulur / 55 / 2024 dated 29.11.2024 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 1st respondent to register the settlement deed dated 29.11.2024, presented by the petitioner.

2. A Refusal Check Slip has been issued directing the petitioner to produce the original parent document.

3. In the light of the Judgement passed by this Court in Ramayee - Vs - The Sub Registrar and others - (2020 (6) CTC 697), the impugned order cannot be sustained.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The 1st respondent is directed to register the document dated 29.11.2024, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
