This petition has been filed for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus in declaring the action of the 3rd respondent University in not calling the petitioner for interviews for the post of University officer advertised vide No.7529/U.O/R.3/2024-2 dated 19.06.2024 as arbitrary, illegal, violative of Article 14 and 16 of Indian Constitution and consequently direct the 1st and 3rd respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner and allow him to appear for interviews going to be held from 12.12.2024 onwards.
2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and has submitted a letter dated 19.12.2024 to the Registrar (Judicial) to that effect.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the letter dated 19.12.2024, this Writ Petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn.
