ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4(1A) of TNP Act, in Crime No.109 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was illegally transporting 11 bottles of golden choice 180 ML for the purpose of selling the same in the rural area.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he prays for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the petitioner is having 8 previous cases against him and also the property is recovered.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is having 8 previous cases, I am not inclined to grant extraordinary remedy of anticipatory bail. 2/4
