Today, when the matter taken up for hearing under the caption "For reporting settlement", both learned counsel for appellant and respondent appeared and reported that before the mediation, the settlement was arrived amicably between the parties and a settlement agreement was executed by both parties. The copy of settlement agreement received from Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai was perused.
2. As per the terms of settlement agreement, both parties have agreed to settle the issue and in view of the terms of the said settlement agreement, this Second Appeal is disposed of. The Settlement Agreement dated 29.04.2025 shall form part and parcel of the decree. No costs.
