For Petitioner : Mr.G.Prathista Reddy For R2 to R4 : Mr.G.Sugadev Rajaguru Central Government Standing Counsel O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider the Application No.HM2555135025 submitted by the petitioner and correct the name of the petitioner in the 12th certificate and 12th marksheet from "Nitishkrishnan M G" to "MG Nitish Krishnan".

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's name was found in his 10th standard certificate as

MG.Nitish Krishnan. Whereas, in his 12th standard education certificate including the mark sheet, his name was reflected as Nitishkrishnan M G. Therefore, the second respondent objected the same, though the petitioner is qualified and eligible for verification of documents for appointment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil Engineer) on the file of the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an application before the first respondent for change of his name and it is pending for consideration without passing any order.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to change the name of the petitioner as MG.Nitish Krishnan in his 12th standard education certificate as well as the mark sheet and issue new 12th standard education certificate and mark sheet to the petitioner, forthwith. In the interest of justice, the respondents 2 to 4 herein are directed to extend the time for production of original higher secondary education certificate and mark sheet of the petitioner, till 17.10.2025.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
