This Application has been filed seeking substituted service to the respondents / defendants through paper publication in one Tamil daily, in order to complete the service of notice.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that several notices have been sent to the respondents to their last resided address and that was the last known address for the plaintiff also.

3. All the notices are said to have been returned as 'no such addressee'. It appears that even in the final decree, the respondents were set ex parte and the notices have been served on them only through substituted service.

4. It is submitted that the address for which, now the notices have been sent is the very same address of the mortgaged property.

5. As the applicant has no other go except to issue substituted service by issuing a publication, the service of notice cannot be completed.

6. In view of the same, the Application is allowed.

7. The applicant is permitted to effect substituted service on the respondents by effecting paper publication in one issue of Tamil daily "Dinakaran", mentioning the date of hearing as 17.11.2025.

8. The matter is ordered to be listed on 17.11.2025. 24-10-2025 AT
