Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners application dated 05.04.2023 and issue patta to the petitioner for his land situated at plot No.11, Door No. 14/10, Venkateshwara Avenue, Sabari Nagar,Porur, Chennai-600 116, comprised in S.No 51/2 in an extent of 1, 288 sq.ft in Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District (Formerly Tiruvallur District) without requiring NOC from the 3rd Respondent.

O R D E R

Since the petitioner's applications dated 05.04.2023, seeking the issuance of a patta with reference to the land situate at Plot No.11, Door No. 14/10, Venkateshwara Avenue, Sabari Nagar,Porur, Chennai-600 116, comprised in S.No.51/2 measuring an extent of 1288 sq.ft in Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District (Formerly Tiruvallur District) without requiring NOC from the 3rd Respondent, has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGP accepting notice for the respondents.

Considering the limited prayer that is sought and also considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioner on 05.04.2023 has not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2023 for issuance of patta without requiring NOC from the 3rd respondent after issuing notice to all the interest parties and pattadars, hearing their objections and 2/4

thereafter pass orders. In case of a rejection a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
