his Online Complaint number 2025-342BOO dated 16.07.2025 seeking to inspect and to take immediate action against the unauthorized construction in violation of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 and the Development Control Regulations at the residential property situated at Door No.29, V-Block, 14th Street, Annanagar, Chennai 600 040 and restore the height of compound wall as per the regulation 11 of Development Regulations for Chennai Metropolitan Area. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Challenge to the construction of compound wall by the private respondent is being laid on the ground of violation of the building plan.
2. The petitioner could not satisfy the Court that the petitioner's right has been adversely affected or that his property has been encroached upon. Therefore, for want of locus, without deciding on merit, the petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
The dismissal of the petition shall not come in the way of the local authority in taking appropriate action, if any warranted, against the private respondent.
