The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking extension of the time granted to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.32521 of 2025 on 28.11.2025.
The submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners are as follows:- 2.1. The petitioners are the accused in Crime No.221 of 2025 registered on the file of the second respondent for the offences under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 118(1), 115(2), 351(3) and 126(2) of the BNS and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) & 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989. 2.2. This Court, while allowing the petition filed by the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.32521 of 2025 seeking to consider their bail application on the same day of their surrender, vide order dated 28.11.2025, directed the petitioners to surrender before the jurisdictional Court within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order. 2.3. Due to the inconvenience of the counsel on record, the order copy was not received in time. Therefore, the petitioners were unable to surrender before the Court concerned, which is neither willful nor wanton. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the condition.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Court is inclined to extend the time for complying with the directions issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.32521 of 2025, vide order dated 28.11.2025.

Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered. The time for complying with the order dated 28.11.2025 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.32521 of 2025, is hereby extended by a further period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted to the petitioners 20.01.2026 ham To 1.
