ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 before finalizing the seniority panel list dated 02.09.2025.
2. Mr.R.U.Dinesh Raj Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, he was appointed as an Assistant Offset Machine Technician in the year 2014, vide appointment order dated 2/6
28.02.2014 and there are about 54 persons appointed in the post of Assistant Offset Machine Technician. While so, in the Seniority panel list dated 02.09.2025, the petitioner's name has been placed below the names of the persons who were directly recruited to the post of Assistant Web Offset Technician and Offset Machine Technician in the year 2016. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation/objection before the 2nd respondent on 18.09.2025. However, as the same evoked no response, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 before finalizing the seniority panel list dated 02.09.2025.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.

From a perusal of the records it is seen that the representation dated 18.09.2025 for the disposal of which the petitioner is seeking a mandamus, is addressed to the 2nd respondent, without a copy being marked to the 4th respondent. In such view of the matter, instead of hinging on technicalities, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation dated 18.09.2025 addressed to the 2nd respondent, to the 4th respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of a copy of such representation, the 4th respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
