The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to fix the Seniority of the petitioner in accordance with the date of the application to the 2nd respondent on 26.11.2002.

2. I heard Mr.Avinash for Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is reported by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents that the petitioner has been continuing in his service.
