O R D E R
The petitioner herein, who claims to have been appointed as 'Sweeper' in the Respondent No.4/ Panchayat on 25.10.2013, has been continuing in the said post. But it was on 10.10.2024, the petitioner was asked not to attend her duties orally, without issuing any order and without affording any opportunity to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner also claims to have submitted a representation dated 28.10.2024 before the Respondent No.1. But the Respondent No.1 appears to have not taken any action on the said representation. The petitioner also claimed to have submitted a further representation dated 11.11.2024 to the Respondents 1 and 3 through registered post and the same were also stated to be still pending for consideration.
2. From the perusal of the material on record, especially the
proceedings bearing e/f/vz;/M2-412-2019 dated 05.05.2022, the pay of the petitioner working in the post of 'Sweeper' in the Respondent No.4/ Panchayat was revised, which prima facie, shows that the petitioner has been working in the Respondent No.4/ Panchayat. However, as the representations, stated to have been submitted by the petitioner on 24.10.2022 and 11.11.2024, are still pending for consideration before the Respondents 1 and 3, this court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case.
2. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.U.M.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4 also fairly submitted that the writ petition can be disposed of by directing for consideration of the representations submitted by the petitioner.
3. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No.1 to consider the representations dated 24.10.2022 and 11.11.2024 submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
