ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1), 4(i), 5(1)(d) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956, in Crime No.478 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused indulged in immoral trafficking under the guise of running a spa. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is only the manager of the Spa centre and he was not aware of the illegal activities conducted by the owner of the massage centre. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that petitioner along with other accused were involved in immoral activities by running a Spa centre and from there six victims have been rescused and the petitioner acted as a pimp. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
