The present writ petition has been filed for the relief of a mandamus, directing the respondent to fix the pay of the petitioners herein by adopting 2.57 multiplier/matrix by taking into account of 7th Pay Commission and pay the consequential benefits to the petitioners herein by considering the representation of the 2nd petitioner dated 18.07.2025, 10th petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2025, 3rd and 4th petitioners representation dated 22.07.2025, 5th petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2025, 1st, 7th and 9th petitioners 2/5

representation dated 24.07.2025, 8th petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2025, 11th petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2025 and 6th petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2025 and in the light of orders of the Madurai Bench in W.P.(MD) No.3609 of 2020 dated 20.06.2023 and confirmed by Division Bench in W.A.(MD).No.1099 of 2021 dated 04.07.2024 and further confirmed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP.No.26264 of 2024 dated 11.11.2024.

2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations have been filed by the petitioners after a few years of retirement.

Be that as it may, considering the fact that the claim of the petitioners has already been covered by the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A(MD)No.1099 of 2024, dated 04.07.2024 which has been affirmed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in SLP.(C) No.26264 of 2024, dated 11.11.2024, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 18.07.2025, 19.07.2025, 22.07.2025, 23.07.2025, 24.07.2025, 25.07.2025, 28.07.2025 and 01.08.2025 within a period of four (4) weeks from 3/5

the date of receipt of a copy of this order in line with the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court indicated above.

4. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
