ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to measure and survey the property comprised in S.No.89/7B3C, patta No.531, an extent of 0.01.5 Hect, at Chinniyampettai Village, Thandrampattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and demarcate the areas owned by the petitioner by fixing a boundary stone, and issue separate patta to the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.06.2025

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. In order to survey the aforementioned land, the petitioner submitted online application before the second respondent and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the second respondent did not take any step to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land. Hence, this writ petition.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to 2/4

survey the aforementioned land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
