ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has been unnecessarily called to come to the Police Station on the basis of the complaint given by one Mrs.Charulatha. Though the said complaint has been closed, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Thirumangalam Range, Chennai. has issued a notice to the petitioner herein to appear before the second respondent-Police.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that though notice has been issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, the complaint given by the said Mrs.Charulatha has been closed and the petitioner is no longer required for any enquiry. 2/4

5. The abovesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
