This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to correct the old survey Number of the petitioner's property bearing door No.1/16,Rohini Street, Rajaji Nagar, Villivakkam, Chennai600049 as 63/1b instead of 64/3 based on the representation dated 26.05.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025, seeking correction of the survey number in respect of the subject property, and after conducting an enquiry by issuing notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, and affording them a personal opportunity of hearing, to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
