Aggrieved by the judgment of acquittal of the respondent, the petitioner/complainant has filed the present petition seeking leave to file an appeal.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent had not disputed the signature in the cheque, the Trial Court had erroneously held that the cheque was not issued for a legally enforceable debt and it was a time barred debt; and that the cheque was issued for a legally enforceable debt.
