ORDER

The limited prayer sought for in this writ petition is for the early disposal of the appeal that has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the rejection of the request by the second respondent dated 08.03.2023. Since the appeal has been pending for a long time, the petitioner is moved this writ petition.

2. Heard, Mr.S.Senthil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents and perused the records.

3. In the light of the fact that the petitioner's appeal, which has been filed on 08.03.2023, has not been taken up for hearing, a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 08.03.2023 filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
