ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to notify the autonomous status granted to the petitioner college by the first respondent University Grants Commission vide order in No.F.2-10/2023(AC-Policy) dated 06.06.2025, for a period of five years from 2025-2026 to 2029-2030, as per Clause 4.2 of University Grants Commission (Conferment of Autonomous Status upon Colleges and Measures for maintenance of standards in autonomous colleges) Regulation 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Panel Counsel appearing for the first respondent. Perused the materials available on record.

3. The very same issue has already been dealt with by this Court in a batch of writ petitions in W.P.Nos.35, 38 and 39 of 2025 etc.

Accordingly, in terms of the aforesaid order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.35, 38 and 39 of 2025 etc., batch, dated 05.02.2025, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent University to notify the autonomous status granted to the petitioner College, as per Regulation 4.2 of the University Grants Commission (Conferment of Autonomous Status upon Colleges and Measures for maintenance of standards in autonomous colleges) Regulations 2023, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
