ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the FIR against the petitioner in Crime No.665 of 2024 dated 20.11.2021 registered for the offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS and pending investigation on the file of the 1 st respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1 st respondents police and also perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is being passed against the 2 nd respondent, notice to the 2 nd respondent is dispensed with.

4. A perusal of the complaint and FIR shows that there is a specific allegation against the petitioner. Therefore, there is no reason to quash the FIR.

5. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is Dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

6. The 1 st respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file charge sheet.
