O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tiruppur, to dispose of the case in C.C.No. 2 of 2022, under Sections 294(b), 506(2), 109, and 326 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the case was taken on file at the beginning of 2022, i.e., C.C. No. 2 of 2022, the learned Magistrate has not taken any steps to dispose of the case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that summons have been served on the accused, and the next hearing is scheduled for 26.12.2024.

4. A perusal of the records reveals that the case was registered at the beginning of the year 2022, i.e., C.C. No. 2 of 2022, concerning offences under Sections 294(b), 506(2), 109, and 326 of the IPC. However, the trial has not yet commenced. In view of this, the learned Judicial Magistrate is directed to dispose of the case in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity to both parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
