The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application on 10.10.2024 made for granting permission/certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's Running Bunk Shop opposite to Bank Manickam Park, Gangadeshwarar Koil Street, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai-600
084. wherein selling Biriyani and food items by using LPG Gas Stove.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is self-employed and running Bunk Shop opposite to Bank Manickam park, Gangadeshwarar Koil Street, Purasaiwalkam, Chennai-600 084. The State Government and first respondent have formed Town Vending Committees to regulate the street vending in Chennai and the second respondent is having overall control over the Street Vending Committees. The petitioner submitted her application on 10.10.2024 for granting permission/certificate of vending and has filed the present Writ Petition to direct the respondents to consider her application and to restrain from disturbing the Petitioner's Running Bunk Shop. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' application dated 10.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the vending committee meeting was convened on 29.01.2025 and the same could not be held due to some unavoidable circumstances. Therefore, the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2024 for running bunk shop will be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the vending committee in its next meeting, which will be held in the forth coming month.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.10.2024 in the next vending committee meeting, which is scheduled to be held on the forth coming month and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
7. This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and direction. No costs.
