O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 1st respondent to consider her application in Application No. TN-720240622605 dated 22.06.2024 and subsequent representation dated 03.09.2024 seeking issuance of legal heir certificate on the death of her husband namely Murugan.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband died on 26.12.2015 and she applied for legal heirship certificate in Application No. TN720240622605 dated 22.06.2024 giving details of the legal heirs and the same has not been considered till date. Hence, she has come before this Court.

4. : Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.V.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2, submits that the application filed by the petitioner will be considered on merits within a time stipulated by this Court 2/4

In view of the same, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner in Application No. TN720240622605 dated 22.06.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
