The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus and direct the first respondent to consider the appeal filed on 30.04.2024 by the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent passed an order on 25.04.2024 dismissing the petitioner from service. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner preferred appeal on 30.04.2024 before the appellate authority namely, the first respondent. It is the further submission of the petitioner that for the past one year no order was passed in the appeal. 3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the first respondent would consider the appeal, within a reasonable time.

4.In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the appellate authority qua the first respondent to consider the appeal upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
