ORDER

The Petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 468, 471, 420, 296(b), 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.565 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that one Vimala died on 21.05.2019; that the 1st petitioner got a sale deed executed in his name by impersonation and that thereafter, a power of attorney was executed in favour of the 2nd petitioner. Furthermore, the prosecution claims that both 1/4

A1 and A2 impersonated the deceased and forged an Aadhar card by providing false address.

3.Though the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they are innocent persons and unaware of such incidents, it is evident from the sale deed that the sale consideration was paid in cash. This raises suspicion. Hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that a suit is pending in O.S.No.444of 2024. However, in the facts of the case, that would not make any difference at this stage. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
