ORDER
The petitioner, who has filed an appeal under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act before the first respondent on 07.06.2024, is aggrieved by the fact that to date the appeal has not been taken up for enquiry.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent, who is the statutory authority to hear the appeal, has not taken up for consideration of the appeal for over a period of six months.
3. Therefore, a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
