ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.09.2025 seeking age relaxation for appointment to the post of Village Assistant, as per the recruitment notification issued by the respondents.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.The petitioner is aged about 42 years. While being so, the respondents issued notifications dated 11.03.2024 and 04.06.2025 for appointment to the post of Village Assistant. As per the recruitment notifications, the maximum age for the said post is 37 years. However, the petitioner is aged about 42 years.

4.In view of the above, the request for age relaxation cannot be considered mechanically. Hence, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be entertained. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is

liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
