ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd and 4th respondents to take immediate and appropriate action to survey the land plot No.48, bearing Survey No.175, admeasuring 945 Sq.ft situated at Ammapet Village, Salem District and consequently to make correction in all relevant revenue records based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2025 and the 3rd respondent's proceedings in letter No Ma.A.A. Thi. Mu 606/ 25A3 dated 02.09.2025, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owns the land plot No.48, bearing Survey No.175, admeasuring 945 Sq.ft situated at Ammapet Village, Salem District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application before the fourth respondent. So far the fourth respondent did not take any step to survey and demarcate the aforementioned land belongs to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, the fourth respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if there are, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There 3/6
