O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to process petitioner's online application for survey in application No.2025/0123/33/007286 dated 06.06.2025 and further direct them to Survey the lands situated at Vinaitheerthapuram Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Kallakurichi District, comprised in S.Nos.91/10B admeasuring 7.50 Ares, 91/11 admeasuring 14 Ares, 91/12 admeasuring 9 Ares, 91/4B, admeasuring 89.50, 91/5 admeasuring 43 Ares, 91/8 admeasuring 22.50 Ares, 92/1B admeasuring 16 Ares, 92/2 admeasuring 21Ares and 93/1 admeasuring 8.50 Ares.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the lands 2/5

comprised in Survey Nos.91/10B admeasuring 7.50 Ares, 91/11 admeasuring 14 Ares, 91/12 admeasuring 9 Ares, 91/4B, admeasuring 89.50, 91/5 admeasuring 43 Ares, 91/8 admeasuring 22.50 Ares, 92/1B admeasuring 16 Ares, 92/2 admeasuring 21Ares and 93/1 admeasuring 8.50 Ares situated at Vinaitheerthapuram Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Kallakurichi District. In order to survey the said lands, he submitted an application before the respondents. However, the respondents did not take any steps to survey the aforesaid lands so far.

In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid lands based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There 3/5

shall be no order as to costs.
