ORDER

Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.465 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 1/4

20(b)(ii)(B) and 29(1) of Narcotic and Substances Act, 1985, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found to be an illegal possession of 1.700 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3. Pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner, false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court.

4. The case of the prosecution as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, opposing for grant of anticipatory bail, is that the petitioner, along with other accused, was found in illegal possession of 1.700 grams of Ganja. He further submitted that there are seven previous cases pending as against the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, the nature of the allegation and the fact that the petitioner has NDPS cases pending 2/4

against him, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
