ORDER
This Court by the order dated 24.10.2025 had directed the trial Court to await the outcome of A.S.No.149 of 2025 and thereafter dispose of the final decree proceedings. The learned First Appellate Court has now sought for extension of time to dispose of the appeal and the communication in Dis.No.15745/T1 dated 04.12.2025 had been received by the Registry of this Court from the learned XXth Additional District Judge, Allikulam, Chennai (City Civil Court).
2. The learned Judge had stated that the records were received by the Court only on 19.11.2025 and at this stage, an application was taken out for amendment of the cause-title in the appeal memorandum. It has also been stated that the appellant's counsel has informed the Appellate Court that an SLP is also preferred and time was sought for. 2/4
3. In the light of the above, I am inclined to grant time till 31.03.2026 to the learned XXth Additional District Court, City Civil Court, Allikulam, Chennai to dispose of the Appeal Suit in A.S.No.149 of 2025 on merits and in accordance with law.
