This application has been filed to extend the time limit for concluding the arbitration proceedings initiated pursuant to the order of this Court made in Arb.O.P.(Com.Div.)No.327 of 2022.

2.Heard Mr.K.Duraisamy, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicant and Mrs.P.T.Ramadevi, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent.
3.The learned Senior Counsel for the applicant would submit that though the issues were framed and the parties were ready for trial, in view of the settlement offers being exchanged, the arbitration could not go on and hence, the extension is sought for.
4.Having considered the averments in the affidavit as well as the arguments advanced by the learned counsel on either side, this application is ordered as prayed for and time is extended by six months for concluding the arbitration proceedings.
