O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to issuance of patta for lands in S.No.18/3 to the petitioner based on the representation dated 29.11.2024.

2.The petitioner's paternal grandmother had a land in the Village of Vengugopalapuram in S.No.18/3. Due to the non-payment of land tax, the land was added to the Bought-In-Land. Though the legal heir of his grandparents and parents, the petitioner continuously cultivates and enjoys the property and also regularly pays the land tax also. 3.Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 29.11.2024. Despite the receipt of the said representation, no steps have been taken to issue patta for lands in S.No.18/3 to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition for mandamus. 2/4

4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5.Considering the limited request, mandamus is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.11.2024 for issuance of patta for lands in S.No.18/3 to the petitioner, after giving due notice to the petitioner and pass orders after giving him a personal hearing and an opportunity to submit his records. The second respondent shall pass a speaking order, within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
