Prayer in W.P.No. 39220 of 2024: Writ Petition filed under 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned order of the 3rd and 4th respondents vide Application Nos.TN-5202411293662 and TN-5202411293774 dated 29.11.2024 and quash the same and consequently, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue the community certificate of Backward Community - Ganjam Reddy to petitioner's daughters S.G.Anushkaa and S.G.Abinayaa. Prayer in W.P.No. 39221 of 2024: Writ Petition filed under 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned order of the 3rd and 4th respondents vide Application Nos.TN-5202411133511 and TN-5202411132862 dated 13.11.
2024 and quash the same and consequently, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue the community certificate of Backward Community - Ganjam Reddy to petitioner's daughters K.Mellina and K.Dharshana. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Balaguru Swamy in both petitions For Respondents : Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan Additional Government Pleader in both petitions C O M M O N O R D E R Challenge is to the order rejecting the application of the petitioners' daughters for issuance of community certificate to the effect that they belongs to "Reddy Kanjam", a backward class community.
2. The order of rejection does not disclose any reasons. It is seen from the typed set of papers, petitioners have already been favoured with a certificate to the effect that they belong to "Reddy Kanjam, a backward class community.
3. Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the authorities will reconsider the application, if the petitioners re-apply with the supporting documents.
4. In view of the same, the order impugned in the Writ Petitions are set aside. The petitioners are at liberty to apply afresh with the supporting documents and the Authorities will consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
