.. Respondents Prayer : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court in Writ Petition No.13563 of 2022, dated 23.04.2024.

ORDER
The first respondent/contemnor is present before this Court. His presence is dispensed with.
2. The learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents/contemnors would produce G.O.(2D).No.79, dated 06.06.2025 and submit that the order of this Court, dated 23.04.2024 in W.P.No.13563 of 2022 has since been complied with.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the order has been complied with in letter by granting promotion as Assistant and Deputy Block Development Officer, in the meanwhile, further promotion is also given to the juniors of the petitioner from the post of Deputy Block Development Officer to the post of Block Development Officer. That should also be given as a natural corollary to the direction that was given by this Court on 23.04.2024.

4. This Court already declared that if the petitioner is superseded on account of non-declaration of the petitioner, then, the consequent benefit should be followed. In view thereof, since the promotion from the post of Deputy Block Development Officer to the post of Block Development Officer is not specifically mentioned in the order, yet, the petitioner can make a representation to the respondents and the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.
5. This Contempt Petition stands closed.
