The Petitioner, CEO of M/s.SSK Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., was approached in 2022 by Ms.Sara B.Ole, who claimed to be a purchase manager at Janssen Pharmaceuticals and introduced him to a business proposal with Dr. Robert Ferdinand. The Petitioner was subsequently defrauded by multiple individuals, including Joseph Brown and Jonathan (allegedly from HSBC), to the tune of Rs. 48,75,554. A police complaint was filed, and FIR No.115/2023 was registered; however, no recovery of funds has been made, and the charge sheet has not been filed to date. The Petitioner seeks a direction from the court to expedite the filing of the charge sheet.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the amount was transferred online to foreign countries, and therefore, further time is required to file the final report.

In view of the above submission, as stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as further investigation is required, and it is not possible to file the charge sheet within the stipulated time. However, the respondent Police is directed to conduct the investigation and file the charge sheet as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
