By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 07.08.2024 seeking issuance of destitute widow certificate within time stipulated by this Court.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she married one Sugumar and he died on 14.11.2022. The parent in-laws of the petitioner are illiterate senior citizens. The petitioner finds it very difficult to meet her daily needs and get along with life without any source of income. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking issuance of destitute widow certificate to enable her to get the benefits under the Welfare Scheme of the Government. Though the representation of the petitioner was submitted as early as on 07.08.2024, till date, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law on its own merits.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
