ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Viruthachalam to dispose of the case in C.C.No.89 of 2023 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. As per the direction of this Court dated 18.12.2024, Mr.M.Gunabalan, Inspector of Police, who is in-charge of the respondent/police station, appeared before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the Station House Officer of the respondent/police station is undergoing departmental action and hence, Mr.M.Gunabalan, Inspector of Police of Pennadam Police Station has taken incharge and that he has served summons to all the accused persons.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. The trial Court is directed to complete the proceedings and dispose of the case in C.C.No.89 of 2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after 2/4

giving an opportunity of hearing to all the parties within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
