ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents herein to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the complaint dated 18.10.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and his family members apprehending attack from the persons who have been arrayed as accused based on the complaint given by the petitioner in crime No.253 of 2024. Hence, the present petition is filed seeking police protection.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents admitted that there is a case pending in Spl.S.C.No.86 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruppur, based on the complaint given by the petitioner.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 2/5

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to extend police protection to the petitioner based on his representation dated 18.10.2024, till the disposal of the case in Spl.S.C.No.86 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruppur.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
