ORDER

This application is filed seeking for extension of time.

2. When the matter is taken up today, Mr.J.Saravanavel, learned counsel for the respondent/husband stating that if the petitioner wife appears for one hearing, then he will complete the cross examination and thereafter there will be no necessity for the wife to appear before the Court since her evidence will be completed. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

KST 3.Mr.Ashok Chakravarthy states that the purpose for seeking extension of time is to assist the child from the wedlock in writing her Engineering entrance examination.

4. I agree with Mr.Ashok Chakravarthy that the interest of the minor is paramount. Yet, the examination is not round the corner.

5. By consent the parties agree that the wife will appear on 27.12.2024 before the Family Court, Chennai . Mr.J.Saravanavel has undertaken that the cross examination of the wife will be completed on the same day and that thereafter the wife need to appear only through Videoconference.

6. Recording the above submission, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
