ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No. 25909 of 2022, dated 03.04.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that, as against the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.25909 of 2022, dated 03.04.2025, writ appeals were filed in W.A.Nos.133 of 2026 etc., batch and the Division Bench, by order dated 09.02.2026, granted stay of operation of the order passed in the said Writ Petition. Hence, he prayed for closure of the contempt petition.

3. In view of the stay granted by the Division Bench of this Court on 09.02.2026 in W.A.Nos.133 of 2026 etc., batch, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to initiate appropriate contempt proceedings, subject to the result of the Writ Appeals, if necessary.
