ORDER

This contempt petition was filed on the ground that the order passed in W.P.No.22781 of 2025, dated 25.06.2025 was not complied.

2/6 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 07.11.2025, this Court passed the following order:

The learned Government Advocate seeks for some more time.

2. Post this case finally on 14.11.2025 at 02.15 P.M.

3. It is made clear that if the order is not complied with, the respondent shall be present before this Court and this Court will proceed to pass final orders in this case. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 21.11.2025, this Court passed the following order:

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate placed the proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 13.11.2025 wherein the Tahsildar has come to a conclusion that the Family Tree Certificate as sought for by the petitioner cannot be given to the petitioner. 2.

The Tahsildar was also present at the time of hearing.

When the writ petition was disposed of by this

3/6 Court, a positive direction was issued by this Court directing the Tahsildar to issue the Family Tree Certificate in the proper format within a period of six weeks. When such positive direction is given by this Court and the order has not been put to challenge, the Tahsildar issues proceedings stating that such a certificate cannot be granted to the petitioner. It per-se reflects contumacious conduct on the part of the Tahsildar. 4.

This Court was inclined to pass final orders in this contempt petition against the Tahsildar. However, the learned Government Advocate persuaded this Court not to pass any order and to keep this matter pending so as to enable the Tahsildar to pass fresh orders.

Post this case for hearing on 26.11.2025 @ 2.15 p.m. for passing final orders.

4.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Tmt.T.Bharathi, Tahsildar, Pallipat Taluk, Tiruvallur, was present and the Family Tree Certificate was handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
