the respondent - Police, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.831 of 2023 final report was filed through efiling on 30.12.2024 vide e-filing No.LTN-20220001956C2002400781 before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Villupuram.

3. Since the respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
