O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18/11/2024 and 13/12/2024 and include the name of the petitioner in the mop-up round of counseling pertaining to admission in the allied Health Science courses under paramedical courses for the academic year 2024 - 2025. In so far as admission to B.Sc Accident and Emergency Care Technology, B.Sc Critical Care Technology, B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc Dialysis Technology, B.Sc Radiography and Imaging Technology, B.Sc Cardiac Technology and B.Sc Physician Assistant is concerned, centralized counseling is being taken up by the third respondent/Secretary of the Selection Committee. However, the name of the petitioner College has not been included, despite the request to that effect has been made by the petitioner on 18/11/2024 and 13/12/2024. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the instant writ petition praying for the relief, as stated supra.
3. Heard Mr.Kandhan Duraisami, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.E.Sundaram, Government Advocate for the first respondent, Mr.A.Mohamed Gouse, learned counsel for the second respondent and Mrs.M.Sneha, learned Special counsel for the third respondent.
4. The learned Special Counsel appearing for the third respondent would submit that as new seats were sanctioned for Allied Health Sciences courses, third respondent are conducting Stray Round of Online Counseling Page No:3/6
to fill up the vacant seats. The candidates who have joined in B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharm are not eligible to participate in the counseling as the cut-off date for admission was over on 30/11/2024.

The learned counsel further submitted that the candidates willing for re-allotment/allotment for Government Colleges and allotment for Government quota in Self Financing Colleges for Allied Heath Sciences courses alone can participate in the counseling and the date of counseling will be announced in the near future.

The learned counsel further submitted that subject to the petitioner complying with the two conditions, viz., (i). the petitioner College has to surrender 65% of their seats to the Government; and (ii). the petitioner College has to submit the fees structure to the second respondent University, application of the petitioner will be considered.
7. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner College is agreeable to both the conditions stated above.

In such a view of the matter, third respondent is directed to consider the recent application submitted by the petitioner dated 13/12/2024 with regard to the plea of the Institute to get included in the counseling for the academic year 2024 - 2025 and take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible.
10. With these direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 17/12/2024 mvs.
