Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for records on the file of the first respondent, in his order, dated 27.02.2004, in D.Dis/P & E 1 (3) 3672/04, and to quash the same, and consequently, to direct the first respondent to take up the Appeal filed on 03.02.2004 on file and dispose of the same.

O R D E R

The petitioner has challenged the order, rejecting the Appeal Petition filed belatedly, and questioned the order passed by the Collector, Kanyakumari District, rejecting the renewal of the L.3 Licence issued.

Admittedly, even the extend period, for which, renewal sought for is over. Furthermore, at the time, when the Writ Petition was entertained, stay petition was dismissed, by order, dated 06.09.2006.

For the above reasons, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
