ORDER
The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. The petitioner has made a representation to the 2nd respondent on 04.10.2021 and again on 09.09.2025 for the issuance of patta in respect of the petitioner's property.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that, for the past four years, the petitioner's representation has not been taken up by the second respondent and delay is causing enormous prejudice to the petitioner.
5. In the light of the limited prayer sought for, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 04.10.2021 and 09.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
6. In fine, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
