The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.09.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 294(b), 406, 419, 420, 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.05 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner by making 1/4

false promise for getting job in Fisheries Department, collected a sum of Rs.51 lakhs from six victims and also cheated the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint has been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody from 03.09.2025 and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court and ready to co-operate for investigation. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent reported that the petitioner fraudulently collected a huge sum of Rs.51 lakhs from six victims and two previous bad antecedents registered against him out of which one case of similar in nature and another case is woman harassment. Hence, he oppose to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has fraudulently cheated six victims and collected a huge sum of Rs.51 lakhs and so far no amount has been recovered and also having bad antecedents of two previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/4

6. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 08.10.2025 ssi To:
