ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 2 nd respondent to release the petitioner's release deed vide Document No.P/Cheyyur/299/2025 dated 24.09.2025 on the file of the 2 nd respondent.

2.When the matter came up for hearing on 05.11.2025, this Court directed to register the release deed dated 24.09.2025, if it is otherwise in order. Thereafter, when the matter is listed for reporting compliance on 12.11.2025, it was informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader that they have sought explanation from the petitioner regarding the legal heirs of the petitioner's husband and request to adjourn the case. On 20.11.2025, when the matter was listed, the respondents 1 and 2 appeared in-person and sought week

time to comply the order of this Court dated 05.11.2025. 3.Thereafter, the matter is listed today. Today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's husband have six legal heirs including the petitioner. However, the petitioner instead of releasing her 1/6th share, has executed the release deed releasing 1/3rd share in favour of his sons. Therefore, the respondents refused to register the release deed dated 24.09.2025, executed by the petitioner and passed an order on 26.11.2025.

4.Since the respondents have passed the order refusing to register the released deed dated 24.09.2025, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present case. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the refusal order dated 26.11.2025.

5.With the above observation, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
